Requirements

  • B.E. in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation OR Equivalent Diploma.
  • Experience 5 to 7 years in technical service support into automation industry.
  • Experience in application programming & commissioning on PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, SERVO and Motion Control.
  • Experience in Programming in Robotics & Vision will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Device Net, Modbus, Profi-bus, Profi-net, Ethernet, Ethercat etc.
  • Knowledge of PLC panel wiring and handling electrical equipments.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system diagrams, schematics, and user manuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with clients, understand their requirements, and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customer site for troubleshooting, modifications, maintenance support and machine breakdown.
  • Study, design, develop application and prepare the technical support plan within the TAT for the customer.
  • Provide technical support to end users, OEM customers and channel partners on phone/ email/ site visit.
  • Conduct product demo-presentation, trials to customers.
  • Conduct product training, maintenance training (robotics) to the customers.
  • Drive service revenue generation through paid support activities.
  • Promote & generate leads for Robotic AMCs at end users.
  • Prepare service quotation, Proforma Invoice and arrange for service invoice through Supply Chain department.
  • Submission of MOM (minutes of meeting) /Field service report, monthly service revenue estimation report.
  • Visiting shop floor and get the customer feedback on service support and submit the report in time.
  • Extend the support for customer registration, vendor registration and other agreement related activities.
