The position involves project assignments including on-site representation of the client, preparation of project documentation, cost estimating, scheduling, plan review, and research of records. The role may also include reviewing project records, schedules, and as-built construction to evaluate change orders and requests for extension of time. The candidate will independently apply techniques and analyze problems and methods, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Additional duties include receiving training, participating in company activities, and performing administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • FE/EIT preferred
  • Knowledge of engineering principles of construction management and project controls
  • Knowledge of critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs
  • Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, CADD, and graphics
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to maintain favorable public relations
  • Ability to safely navigate construction work sites with uneven terrain
