The Engineer will have technical responsibility over network distribution equipment such as network transformers, network protectors, and associated peripherals, sensor and communication equipment. The Engineer will also oversee and manage projects related to the design and modification of Network Equipment. The Engineer will work with vendors to create and update designs, review and approve design packages, approve network equipment prototypes. The Engineer will also monitor equipment performance and sensor data and issue work requests accordingly. The Engineer will also create, review and update the Con Edison Network Distribution Equipment specifications, purchase and test specifications as well as operation and maintenance specifications. The Engineer will assist the field in troubleshooting any equipment installation or operation issues. Mission Statement: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
