About The Position

This role applies electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to various components and systems. This includes tasks such as assembly, analysis, and documentation of results, as well as the construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components, and quality testing. The Engineer Electromechanical 4 will also support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience
Ph.D. and 4 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program

Nice To Haves

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and lead with limited oversight
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong Technical writing and reviewing experience is a plus
Understanding of U. S. Navy propulsion plant watch standing practices, tests, and operations is preferred but not required
