Translate requirements into electrical architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface/control definitions. Select and specify electrical components (power supplies, sensors, actuators, connectors, harnessing, PCBA components, etc.). Capable to repair PCBA’s including soldering through hole, SMT, fine pitch components and wire Create and maintain engineering documentation: schematics, BOMs, cable/harness drawings, wire diagram, test procedures, component libraries, and change orders (ECR/ECO). Build prototypes and support lab/field testing; troubleshoot issues using appropriate diagnostic tools (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.). Create verification and validation (V & V) documentation (DVP&R) and perform virtual and/or physical product V & V testing. Support verification and validation by developing test plans & test fixtures, executing tests, analyzing results, and documenting conclusions. Collaborate with manufacturing on design-for-manufacture/assembly, wiring practices, work instructions, and transition to production.
