We interface with many different organizations in all phases of manufacturing nuclear powered aircraft carriers and submarines (e.g., design, material procurement, planning, construction, final testing, etc.). One of our major functions is to develop step-by-step procedures and technical drawings, and we solve problems on a daily basis as craftsmen build and test the propulsion plants on Gerald R. From the office, to the shop floor, to the ship, we move to where we are needed to provide effective engineering support.
