About The Position

Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olsson’s number one concern, and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner. As an EIT on our Water/Wastewater team, you will contribute to essential infrastructure projects that make a real difference. In this role, you will design and develop projects using advanced CAD and modeling software, conduct detailed technical analyses, and prepare precise construction documents. Your responsibilities will also include providing construction services, performing research, and authoring technical reports. You will collaborate closely with a skilled team of engineers on a variety of projects related to wastewater collection and treatment, as well as water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution. Typical projects you will engage with include sanitary sewer systems, wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities, water piping networks, supply wells, storage tanks, and water treatment plants.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Engineer Intern (EI) certificate is required
  • 1-4 years of experience, previous engineering consulting experience is helpful
  • AutoCAD or other related design software experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for public works projects
