About The Position
The Engineer Development Program (EDP) at ERCOT is a 12-16 month initiative aimed at equipping entry-level engineers with essential skills to thrive as power engineers. Participants will engage in hands-on learning within ERCOT's modeling groups, gaining insights into power engineering fundamentals and the ERCOT grid. The program includes mentoring, training sessions, field trips, and special assignments across various engineering disciplines, preparing engineers for future career paths in the power sector.
