Northrop Grumman Space Systems-Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Network Engineer - Network DevOps Engineer II (25-226) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position, located in Colorado Springs, CO., plays a crucial role in our mission to support the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. Relocation Assistance is not available for this position, and this role is on-site with no remote options.

  • Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipeline tools, including GitLab, Nexus, and Python.
  • Execute configuration management processes, releases, and versioning of managed configurations.
  • Create automated pipelines to deploy new configurations into lab environments.
  • Apply principles, theories, and concepts to provide imaginative and thorough solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Support the C2BMC Program as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Administer GitLab, ensure proper documentation, and reporting.
  • Execute data management utilizing existing program tools, including documentation, training, and reporting.
  • Assist with release management as required.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for the NES ART.
  • Create, maintain, and present KPIs and other metrics related to the CI/CD pipeline and configuration management areas.
  • Create and maintain a test pipeline through multiple labs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Network Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a related discipline and 0 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience instead of a degree may be considered.
  • Current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.) is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
  • Effective communication and writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Experience with GitLab and GitLab concepts (such as branching, merging, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes.
  • Proficient in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge of Network Engineering.
  • Experience creating and updating processes and procedures.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Developing KPIs and tracking metrics, with experience creating reports.
  • Experience working in a DoD environment.
  • Prior experience with C2BMC.
  • Current and Active in-scope DoD-Issued Top Secret clearance is highly desired.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence is highly preferred.
