About The Position

The Civil Engineer position at the Southern Service Center in San Diego or Sacramento involves preparing technical designs for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utility connections. Requirements

• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification.

• Knowledge of California State Parks and public agency facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical designs, including plans, specifications, and estimates for roads, parking areas, bridges, piers, retaining walls, utility connections, ADA improvements, water and sewage treatment facilities, and storm water collection and treatment systems.
• Obtain permits for construction projects.
• Conduct field investigations.
• Prepare cost analysis and progress reports.
