This role is within the Lunar Permanence business unit, which focuses on Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products, building sustainable infrastructure for crew and cargo transport to the lunar surface. As an Engineering Operations lead on the Core Avionics Team, the individual will enhance engineering operating cadence, vertical integrations, and hardware deliveries for core avionics teams, with a primary emphasis on electronics design and manufacturing operations. This position is crucial for the technology maturation of space-rated avionics systems and requires a deep understanding of electronics development lifecycles. Responsibilities include program management across the entire product lifecycle, from research and electronics design development to final flight hardware manufacturing and production. The role involves managing budgets, schedules, WBS, and program plans to ensure timely delivery of complex electronics hardware for mission-critical tasks. The lead will communicate status, risks, opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management teams, playing a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system to return humans to the Moon and extend human presence beyond Earth.
