Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related work or project experience is an asset.
  • Laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical analysis in the metallurgy department, focusing on quality assurance, R&D, material identification, and failure analysis for industrial clients.
  • Prepare and review reports to ensure quality.
  • Analyze samples using various analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Organize projects for standardized testing and develop test plans and schedules for special projects.
  • Interpret customer and industry specifications to ensure correct testing is performed and maintain high customer satisfaction through regular interactions.
  • Train, monitor, and coordinate activities of laboratory personnel in test setup, sample preparation, and data collection to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Review work, distribute incoming jobs, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
