About The Position

The Opportunity: The AI/ML Engineer will support projects in various places in the AI/ML model life cycle, from research and development to production. This position will support the development of AI/ML algorithms in a multitude of areas such as computer vision (object detection, classification, 3-d reconstruction, etc.), applying deep learning architectures in various other domains, and generative AI (e.g. large language models, multi model models, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or relevant fields
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and the various processes involved
• Expertise with at least one area of AI/ML: Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, etc.
• Experience designing, developing and debugging prototype AI systems
• Expertise with one area of the model development life cycle, from prototype to deploying

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team consisting of developers and researchers to implement machine learning algorithms to solve a broad set of challenges for our various customers
• Analyze large multi-domain datasets such as images, text and/or graph data to identify statistically relevant features to build models that provide analysts with actionable data
• Use cloud services to train and deploy ML models
• Review relevant publications to understand and apply cutting edge concepts to defense and commercial applications
• Write technical documentation supporting code, program capabilities, and user-guides
• Actively seek out mentorship opportunities
