We are seeking an Engineer 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

  • Provides system programming and management support for large scale networking infrastructures.
  • Administers and maintains high performance computer configurations as well as other systems and peripherals participating in system integration projects.
  • Conducts system performance analyses, problem resolution, and system security initiatives.
  • Works with senior staff in the development of system management tools.
  • Maintains system documentation and maintenance records and generates weekly and/or monthly summary status reports.
  • Spends four (4) to six (6) hours per week staying current on industry trends and available products and services.
  • Performs staging and setup as needed for project support and for self-instruction.
  • Works closely with Systems Engineers to install and configure networks based on an Installation Design Package (IDP).
  • Researches equipment from a multitude of manufacturers to resolve technical issues during installation and testing.
  • Collaborates with Design Department to identify and correct design problems during the design cycle.
  • Suggests process improvements and cost savings to aid Implementation Department for future installs.
  • Provides systems support for a large-scale, high performance computing center.
  • Develops and maintains systems documentation.
  • Provides designs for automation systems including a list of quantities and types of materials used.
  • Creates user guideline documentation and manuals for user end custom programs and applications.
  • Works within a lab environment, learning different IT and ESS systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
  • Must obtain a Security+ within 6-months.
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
