APEX is hiring an Engineer 2 to be based in Pleasant Hill or Truckee, CA. Our Pleasant Hill Practice is home to a multidisciplinary team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers who collaborate on a wide variety of project types and environmental contaminants. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- HAZWOPER certification.
- 4+ years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing.
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D
- Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience with waterways and dredging is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct field sampling of soil, water, air, and building materials
- Assist with project engineering design.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Write high-quality technical reports and proposals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
