About The Position

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Gas Engine Assembly Technician. Join our service experts and be part of a team using the latest tooling for engine overhauls for the oil & gas industry. Position Summary: Requires an assembly, mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of assembly practices Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties Use of lifting devices and cranes to move components weighing more than 50 lbs Follows documented procedures in standard work Performs safe and defect free assembly Uses principles of 5S, continuous improvement, and standard work to eliminate waste Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly Contributing team member Effective communication skills

Requirements

Assembly, mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of assembly practices
Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties
Use of lifting devices and cranes to move components weighing more than 50 lbs
Follows documented procedures in standard work
Performs safe and defect free assembly
Uses principles of 5S, continuous improvement, and standard work to eliminate waste
Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly
Contributing team member
Effective communication skills
Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
Manufacturing experience
Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
Basic computer skills
