About The Position

A leading engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking an Engine Production Engineer to support production operations in collaboration with a major engine manufacturing customer team. This role involves coordinating engineering activities, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient and high-quality engine production.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
• Experience in: Engine parts management Engine repair and testing Engine assembly and disassembly
• Ability to interpret: Work instructions Engineering drawings Bills of materials (BOMs)
• Experience with process development and optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (OR Associate’s Degree with relevant work experience)
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time in Middletown, CT.
• Local candidates only .
• Flexibility to work variable shifts when required .

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engine production engineering activities between technicians and internal engineering/IPT teams.
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, systems, and tools .
• Communicate technical issues to engineering teams and collaborate on effective solutions.
• Collect, analyze, and report engine production status and performance metrics .
• Assist in improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness .
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams.
