About The Position

This position acts as the liaison coordinator between the production floor, supply chain, and engineers. They ensure that technicians have the parts, tools, and documentation needed to complete assembly on time, thereby minimizing shop downtime and maximizing turnaround time.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance processes and basic tools.
  • Education: Min of 3 years of experience in an aviation maintenance environment.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing per FAA/DOT regulations

  • Experience with Quantum MRP a preference.

  • Candidate should be goal-oriented, have good attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and individually.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily schedules and move parts between different “work order kitting locations” to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Rapid Response. Able to provide quick solutions to urgent parts request.
  • Sourcing alternative parts when standard parts are unavailable.
  • Ensure technicians and maintenance personnel receive the correct parts and consumables to support shop floor operations.
  • Assist in managing MRO parts rooms, which includes receiving, kitting (assembling all necessary parts for a job), and delivering materials to technicians.
  • Work with Asset Management, Engineering, Production Control on kitting/marshalling upcoming modules to keep rotating as needed for upcoming engine builds/ module swaps.
  • Create and maintain determined minimum kits of common assemblies.
  • Identify material shortages, coordinate with Production Control on shortages, and expedite parts to ensure they arrive before maintenance is scheduled to begin.
  • Ensure all work packages, task cards, and repair documents are accurate and comply with regulatory FAA standards, ensuring SBs and ADs are being met based on workscope and engine configuration
  • Interpreting engine manuals to validate configuration of airworthiness materials
  • Provide records to the records department after validation of Kitting has been completed and delivered to Production for Assembly
  • Serve as the liaison between production, quality assurance/records, engineering, and asset management, providing status updates on kitting progress and potential delays.
