About The Position

As a test engineer, you will support the development of various powertrains by designing test procedures and methodologies. Your role will involve detailed data analysis and test validation of new equipment to ensure that required emission and fuel economy standards are met. You will also be responsible for problem resolution and troubleshooting support. In addition, you will perform as a project manager, delivering on quality, timing, and financial objectives of projects. This includes managing complex installations that require detailed design work and acting as a testing liaison to coordinate with outside suppliers to ensure that test procedures and processes are adhered to. You will ensure that the data generated matches established standards and coordinate issue resolution across all test sites to achieve commonality. Furthermore, you will coordinate asset and part movement to ensure that project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Working knowledge of internal fluid flow, basic chemistry, and heat transfer properties.
• Experience in engines/powertrain dynamometer testing or similar testing techniques.
• Basic electronic troubleshooting experience and data analysis skills.
• Good interpersonal, computer, oral, and written communication skills.
