About The Position

We are looking for a talented FIELD SERVICE - TECHNICIAN to join our team in TAMWORTH.

Requirements

• Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
• Strong engine diagnostic experience
• The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
• A genuine commitment to workplace safety
• A valid driver's license
• Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Nice To Haves

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and toolbox
• Good attention to detail and enthusiasm to deliver the customer with a quality repair
• Engine rebuild and major experience preferred but not essential
• Experience with the Cummins product is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• First responder to breakdown events
• Fleet maintenance
• Capturing engine data
• Fault diagnostics
• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
• Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
• Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
• The face of Cummins at the customer site
