Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • A minimum of two years of combined experience in inside sales, call center operations, recruitment, or student enrollment is required.
  • Demonstrated passion for assisting others in achieving their personal and academic goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both faculty and student populations.
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of exceeding performance expectations in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific hardware, software, and reporting systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable and will receive additional consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver unparalleled customer service in all interactions with prospective and continuing students, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Operate effectively within a data-driven environment, meeting and exceeding response time and accuracy metrics by directing students to the appropriate resources or parties.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity by adhering to attendance, availability, and multitasking standards to achieve both individual and team performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement best practices that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quickly acquire expertise in the technology and processes utilized by the Engagement Specialist team, adapting to evolving systems and workflows.
  • Build rapport with students to facilitate successful engagements and secure transfers, adding value to their academic journey.
  • Proactively seek referrals and secure new inquiries by engaging with students and identifying opportunities for outreach.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
