About The Position

As an Engagement Manager, you will focus on maximizing customer satisfaction, retention and growth throughout the relationship. Program managing from pre-sales through service delivery, you'll help to evolve your customers' cloud strategies from concept to implementation. As an industry expert, you'll be responsible for delivering business outcomes for customers through innovation, great relationships and business understanding. Requirements

  • Have US citizenship, due to the nature of our client base
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of consulting process to identify the best solutions and ensure customer success
  • Show experience of managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully
  • Demonstrate understanding of network technologies, web performance, web security, methodologies or architectures
  • Be a natural communicator with an ability to build trusting relationships and ensuring customer success
  • Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Possess a technical aptitude and a desire to constantly learn new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Strategizing to establish key relationships, building and maintaining a project pipeline and delivering customer targets effectively
  • Partnering with pre-sales to educate customers on Akamai services and solutions to make the best recommendations for their needs
  • Maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on the customer's needs and business requirements
  • Being the central point of contact for the customer and cross-functional teams
  • Owning program management and being a trusted advisor in ensuring customers get maximum value from our solutions
