About The Position

The Engagement Manager at PragerU is responsible for managing a portfolio of 2000-2500 donors, focusing on raising gifts between $1,000 and $5,000. This role involves engaging with donors through various communication channels to meet fundraising goals, steward existing relationships, and identify potential new donors. The position is integral to PragerU's mission of promoting American values through digital media and aims to raise between $1 million and $2 million annually.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional work experience.
• Background in fundraising preferred, but experience in sales, customer service, retail, or marketing will also be considered.
• Experience with a customer relationship management database preferred.
• Ability to meet aggressive weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and goals.
• Superb verbal and interpersonal skills with no fear of rejection.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to quickly connect with people by phone.
• Excellent listening skills and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to move between different projects and activities with ease.

• Experience in a heavy outbound development environment.
• Self-starter with a highly ethical approach and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to quickly learn about PragerU content and effectively communicate it to donors.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to new and existing donors primarily via phone, meeting weekly activity goals for calls, emails, texts, appointments, and solicitations.
• Screen and qualify existing online donors to identify high-capacity supporters and prospect for potential new donors.
• Update records to ensure key donors are being stewarded and maintain a record of funds raised.
• Document donor efforts in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT (CRM system).
• Liaise and coordinate with the broader in-house development team (data, events, other fundraisers).
