About The Position

YFC Northern Indiana is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Engagement Lead to lead and manage vendor and partner relationships and plan and execute major events such as our premiere golf outing at Sycamore Hills and our City Life Luncheon. This role also ensures the highest quality in all YFC events, including meet and greets, golf outings, our We Believe In You(th) Campaign Rallies, and other events. This role involves managing event budgets, overseeing communication channels—including email, SMS, and social media—and driving engagement to support YFC's mission. The ideal candidate has experience in event planning, strong organizational and budget management skills, and proficiency in communication platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and execution
• Strong budget management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in social media and communication platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience with fund development
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, event management, or a related field
• Proven experience managing budgets and vendor/partner relationships
• Experience with communication tools and platforms, including email marketing, SMS campaigns, and social media management

Nice To Haves

• Nonprofit experience (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Lead & Manage vendor/partner relationships in the events space
• Plan & Execute all major events, including golf outings, luncheons and lead and manage the team to be successful
• Manage event budgets
• Ensure quality with ALL YFC events by leading and managing teams to host regional events
• Manage all communication engagement, including email, sms, and social media platforms
