About The Position

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a Casual/Per Diem Engagement Guide to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. We are actively seeking to hire individuals with lived experience of disability. Your insight is highly valued and will help us advance our commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Direct experience as a self-advocate is essential to this role. As an Engagement Guide, you will work with employees and community partners to make sure everyone feels included and heard.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Direct experience as a self-advocate
Awareness of inclusion principles and commitment to best practices
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret, and apply written information
Basic computer skills, including the use of software and other web-based systems
Access to reliable transportation to and from the office
Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks

Nice To Haves

Experience in facilitation and leading training programs is preferred

Responsibilities

Help create an environment where all the people choosing to use our services are treated with respect
Develop and co-present inclusive training programs where people who choose to accept our services and support professionals can learn and grow together
Build partnerships with other organizations and community partners to advocate for inclusion
Represent Keystone Human Services at events and learn alongside others
