As an Engagement Coordinator / Prevention Specialist with our SafeCare Program, you will be at the heart of community prevention work, bridging families, partners, and resources while delivering evidence-based, home-centered services that strengthen families and protect children. Key Duties & Impact: Serves as a primary ambassador for the SafeCare Program, cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with community partners and referral sources Leads outreach and educational presentations that elevate awareness of SafeCare services Delivers home-based clinical and social services to families at high risk for child abuse or neglect Utilizes case management and advocacy skills to connect families with critical community resources Coaches families in essential life skills, including: Child health and development Home safety Positive parent-child interactions Behavior management and communication Applies Motivational Interviewing techniques to support families experiencing substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health challenges Maintains fidelity to the SafeCare evidence-based model with guidance from consultants Accurately document services, data, and outcomes to support compliance, funding, and program evaluation Participates in ongoing trainings, professional development, and collaborative learning opportunities Represents the organization with professionalism, empathy, and cultural responsiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Marketing, Public Relations, or a closely related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently in the community and in home-based settings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and general computer skills
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including mobility, lifting up to 30 pounds, and extended periods of standing or sitting
  • Must to complete required trainings and certifications, including SafeCare,CPR/First Aid, TB testing, and trauma-informed care

Responsibilities
