The Engagement Consultant Lead partners closely with the Executive Director of Team Member Experience to design, launch, and promote IU Health’s engagement strategy. This role is pivotal in aligning engagement initiatives with broader business objectives, including the development of organizational metrics and targets for the Promise Dashboard. As a thought leader in the engagement space, the Lead drives initiatives that engage, develop, and retain team members, supporting IU Health’s commitment to being a "Great Place to Work" and cultivating a healthy, high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, with a specific focus on partnering with top-tier strategic engagement vendor partners.
  • Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing advanced reporting and presentation tools to communicate data-driven insights.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and process multiple complex projects, deadlines, and intricate processes with high accuracy.
  • Ability to consult and influence across various levels of leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience working within a large, highly matrixed clinical or business organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Leverage analytical capabilities to understand how engagement influences key organizational outcomes; lead efforts to socialize methodologies and build strategic tools/resources.
  • Survey Administration: Manage quarterly surveys and multi-channel listening strategies for team members and providers to identify key engagement drivers.
  • Consultation & Facilitation: Partner with subject matter experts to facilitate strategic action-planning sessions and provide targeted initiatives based on survey data.
  • Data & Analytics: Establish performance metrics and KPIs; conduct deep-dive data analysis to uncover actionable insights at both the system and regional levels.
  • Organizational Support: Provide initiative-based support to HR partners, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) teams, and leadership across the organization.
