About The Position

The Engagement and Groups Coordinator facilitates the connection process by managing engagement inquiries, follow-up, and next steps into baptism, membership, and groups. This role also oversees systems, coordinates interviews and events, and supports group alignment to ensure a smooth and effective engagement experience. The Engagement and Groups Coordinator will support the Engagement Ministry through the following initiatives: Engagement Path & Follow-Up Respond to and manage all incoming engagement inquiries (baptism, membership, Discover events, Connect Form and Gospel responses). In coordination with Engagement Assistant, guide individuals from first contact to next steps in baptism, membership, groups, and discipleship. Maintain timely, thoughtful, and personalized follow-up via phone, text and email. Monitor and ensure the engagement pipeline is moving effectively, addressing gaps as needed. Systems & Workflow Management Maintain engagement pipeline, automations, and communications. Ensure consistent execution of follow-up from Grace Ministries. Interview Coordination & Process Management Coordinate and schedule all baptism and membership interviews with pastoral staff. Communicate clearly with individuals regarding scheduling, expectations, and next steps. Manage all post-interview follow-up to ensure individuals continue moving forward. Community & Small Groups Coordination Coordinate Community Groups, Classes, and Off-Campus Small Groups (scheduling, rooms, and data). Support group leaders through communication, resources, and training coordination. Maintain accurate group information across CCB, the website, and the app. Assist individuals in connecting to appropriate groups and community opportunities Ministry Collaboration & Events Partner with pastoral staff, Adult Ministries, and First Impressions teams to ensure individuals are welcomed and connected. Collaborate with Communications to maintain clear, up-to-date digital information. Support Engagement events such as Discover Grace, baptisms, and leader gatherings. Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • 1-2 successful years of administrative experience
  • Working technical knowledge of database entry, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Displays an attitude of commitment to prayer and specific prayers among volunteers concerning their mission centric service
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
  • Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20)
  • Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
  • Consistent attendance and participation in Grace Church and involvement in the life of the church
  • Ability to relate to and effectively communicate with Grace staff, volunteers, and church attenders
