About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Energy Technical expert to join our dynamic field sales team. This position plays a pivotal role in helping energy companies navigate their digital transformation journeys, optimize operations, and adopt cutting-edge technologies to achieve strategic, sustainability and energy transition goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the energy value chain, driving impactful change in areas such as renewable integration, decarbonization, operational efficiency, and customer experience leveraging Altair's solution suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, energy systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in energy consulting, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and energy management systems.
• Proven track record of delivering digital transformation projects in the energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with digital tools such as AI/ML platforms, IoT sensors, data visualization tools, simulation, Digital Twin, and cloud-based solutions.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess client business models, operations, and technology landscapes to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
• Develop customized digital strategies aligned with business goals such as sustainability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on emerging trends like IoT, AI, simulation, and advanced analytics in the energy sector.
• Lead and execute projects and/or benchmark involving the implementation of digital tools, platforms, and workflows with customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sales, operations, and executive leadership, to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Manage client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring successful delivery of consulting engagements.
• Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to upskill teams on digital tools and methodologies.
• Stay updated on energy industry trends, regulatory changes, and digital innovations.
• Contribute to white papers, webinars, conferences, and Energy industry organization to establish thought leadership in the digital energy transformation space.
