Energy Solutions Engineer or Senior Energy Solutions Engineer. Do you want to change the way people use energy and help Xcel Energy reach our carbon-neutral goal by 2050? We are looking for experienced engineers to provide technical expertise and strategic direction for our residential programs, which help customers use energy more efficiently. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to share technical information and work collaboratively across internal and external teams. This position provides technical support in developing and maintaining Xcel Energy's array of residential offerings for beneficial electrification, energy efficiency, and distributed energy resources. As advanced grid infrastructure grows, this position will evolve to find new ways to support our customers. The following job summary and responsibilities reflect the duties of the Engineer level; the Sr. Engineer will differ as different skills and/or experience will be required. The successful candidate will be placed at a level that is commensurate with their skills and experience. This a hybrid position (three days on-site, two days remote) officed out of either 401 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN office or our Denver HQ T3 location.
