The Energy Services Project Manager at Trane Technologies is responsible for overseeing project financials, administration, implementation, management, and ensuring customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. This role involves leading project teams through various project phases and serving as the primary contact for stakeholders. The manager will handle a portfolio of projects, which may include both smaller and larger multi-building or complex construction projects, while also supporting sales functions with scope development.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Lead all aspects of project administration, ensuring adherence to contract penalty clauses, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies, and managing compliance with project documentation and safety guidelines.
  • Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost/revenue, monitoring expenses, and overseeing preparation for monthly backlog reviews with leaders.
  • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, establishing customer expectations, and identifying risks with mitigation plans.
  • Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, oversee the RFQ process, manage subcontractor execution, and establish communication guidelines for project progress and safety.
  • Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Project Schedules / PM Construction Software.
  • Combination of degree or 3-5 years experience in a related field.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
