Cedar Falls Utilities is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Energy Services Manager to lead key account relationships, oversee energy efficiency and beneficial electrification programs (EV), and support the economic growth of the Cedar Falls Community. This leadership role blends technical expertise, customer engagement, and program management, making it ideal for candidates who want meaningful work that strengthens both utility operations and community impact. The Energy Services Manager reports to the Director of Energy Resources and leads a team responsible for delivering innovative energy efficiency programs, managing major commercial and industrial relationships, and supporting economic development with the City of Cedar Falls. This position collaborates across CFU departments, works closely with city leadership and external stakeholders, and plays a vital role in shaping programs that improve reliability, affordability and sustainability for customers. This position provides strategic direction and works closely with the Director of Energy Resources to advance CFU's mission to provide innovative, high-quality services that brings the most value to our community. Competitive market-based compensation. Starting wage is based upon individual qualifications. Salary range is $123,646 - $162,507. Starting salary will be within $123,646 - $141,310. Hybrid flexibility - eligible for up to 40% remote work based upon operational needs. Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm and required to respond after-hours during outages affecting key accounts.
