In this role, you will support AWS’s infrastructure expansion by leading energy projects with electric utilities and energy companies across AWS regions. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to grow AWS’s diverse, reliable and low-cost energy supply. The candidate must be able to manage the execution of multiple large scale power infrastructure projects across different geographies in AMER Central. The candidate will manage utility interactions, work with internal and external engineering, real estate and planning teams to deliver the electric infrastructure to serve AWS data centers, including but not limited to managing the utility, EPC vendor and/or Owners Engineer to meet AWS’ needs. The candidate will work as part of an integrated team to implement energy program requirements and deliver tangible reliability and cost saving results.
