About The Position
The Energy Procurement-Natural Gas Buyer is responsible for gas purchasing for Empire District Gas, Midstates Gas, and Peach State. This role ensures that natural gas supplies are in place for both peak and off-peak periods. The buyer will solicit RFPs (requests for proposal), track pricing, analyze bid results, perform hedging activities, and make decisions regarding day-to-day supply plans for the aforementioned gas companies.
