About The Position

We are looking for a candidate that can deliver fuel economy and performance feel development from pre-program start to post-certification. The successful candidate will be engaged in a broad range of engineering activities ranging from target setting, CAE modeling, dynamometer and on-track testing culminating in official fuel economy certification for each model year. Looking for a fuel economy and performance engineer to join our team in developing exciting Ford trucks and SUVs. What you'll do... Lead the integration of fuel economy and performance feel on current and forward model programs from pre-program start to post-certification. Ensure robust execution of Vehicle Energy Management Engineering (VEME) attribute deliverables for engineering gateways to ensure vehicle program content is compatible with attribute target achievement. Develop CAE vehicle fuel economy and performance feel models. Develop timing and test plans for design validation and conduct vehicle testing to verify fuel economy and acceleration performance. Champion attribute issue resolution plans. Occasional travel to different test sites may be required What you'll do...
