Cascade Energy is seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer for a Summer Internship in the Pacific Northwest/ Portland, OR. The EEE Internship has been created to help develop the next generation of engineers. This internship will provide exposure to the day-to-day work of an Energy Efficiency Engineer, who works directly with our industrial clients to identify and study opportunities for maximizing energy efficiency and performance in industrial systems. Our engineers take a consultative approach, gathering data, installing logging equipment, creating optimization models of industrial systems, and writing feasibility reports for energy efficiency projects. The Intern will work on projects that matter, while being challenged academically and professionally. We’ll provide the tools, support, and mentorship each step of the way. The Intern will be paired with an experienced senior- level Engineer who will provide training and coaching and help manage work assignments. The Intern will also have the opportunity to engage with a variety of people on our engineering team, which may include job shadowing, department meetings, and technical trainings.
