About The Position

In this role, you will collaborate across a breadth of stakeholders to identify training needs, design effective learning solutions, and evaluate results that advance performance and equity goals. Through strategic planning, vendor management, and strong relationship-building, you will help ensure consistent, high quality training experiences that drive long-term program success. More Hybrid Details: This role follows a hybrid schedule. The consultants will split their time between their home office 50% and travel to our Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire offices 50%.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge & Skills Highly motivated, eager to learn, and capable of quickly adapting to new tasks. Experience collaborating across multiple business units to achieve shared program goals. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Experience establishing metrics and goals and implementing strategies to achieve them. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong ability to work independently and within a team setting. Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and drive results.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience Three (3) plus years of relevant experience in program design and implementation, including experience developing and coordinating training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Training Strategy & Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support contractor training initiatives, including contracting with external training providers, securing marketing resources, and ensuring alignment and tracking across programs and states. Identify state-specific training requirements and tailor training strategies accordingly. Partner with implementation leaders to determine business partner training needs based on program goals, current performance, and long-term objectives. Responsibilities include identifying skill gaps, scheduling training sessions, and securing required materials. Ensure all training events are posted internally and externally, where applicable. Develop training schedules, monitor training outcomes, create reports, and maintain training records.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand training access equitably across demographic groups. Work with Procurement to develop and issue RFPs for required services; manage vendor performance to ensure Scope of Work (SOW) is being met. Coordinate with Learning and Development to identify and secure approved trainers.
  • Reporting & Review of Performance: Provide regular reporting to leadership and regulatory bodies. Conduct Training Needs Analyses to assess and justify proposed training activities. Track training activities, maintain accurate records, and produce timely reports. Collect and evaluate training feedback using pre- and post-training surveys; assess effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend enhancements. Analyze historical training effectiveness in partnership with employees and management to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Regulatory: Contribute to regulatory deliverables such as Energy Efficiency plans, responses to regulatory inquiries, and draft testimony.
  • Finance: Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking related to training activities and performance metrics.
