Energy Educator - SEEL
About The Position
SEEL (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics) is seeking Energy Educators for their residential energy efficiency program that provides free basic home energy consultations and direct installations of low-cost energy-saving supplies to residential energy customers in the Central New Jersey Area. SEEL seeks motivated, reliable professionals with knowledge in energy efficiency and strong communication and customer service skills. SEEL is looking for results-oriented performers with proven ability to deliver value through positive and clear communication,superior customer service and accurate data tracking and reporting. Educators must be dependable, flexible and willing to take direction
Requirements
- Valid driver’s License, and good driving record, and ability to pass screening to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to pass a criminal background investigation, no felony convictions
- Ability to pass a standard drug test.

Responsibilities
- Work independently or with a Direct Installer to conduct home energy consultations. This includes travel to the home, 35-55 minute meeting with the customer; reviewing reports and marketing collateral, collecting data electronically, maintaining supply inventory, and reporting to the Project Manager and field coordinators
- Communicate project goals and convey positive image of project partners
- Perform walk-through energy assessments and record findings (e.g. lighting, thermostat type, furnace efficiency and condition)
- Teach customers about the benefits and point out opportunities of simple low- and no-cost energy cMinimum
