Weaver is seeking talented professionals to join our growing Energy Compliance Services (ECS) team. Weaver's ECS practice is dedicated to helping businesses navigate compliance with evolving regulations, including regulations governed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Environment and Climate Change Canada, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, California Air Resources Board as well as other various states and provinces. Many of the environmental programs we focus on within our ECS practice are rooted in managing the human impact on the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing sustainability. We have substantial expertise and experience with transportation fuel regulations, including petroleum-based fuels as well as renewable fuels. The role of the ECS Associate Regulatory Consultant is to develop an understanding of technical laws and regulations related to the ECS practice (duties may vary by level). This individual will provide support for completing Renewable Identification Number ("RINs") transactions in the EPA Moderated Transaction System ("EMTS") for multiple clients and for preparing quarterly and annual reports required under Title 40 Part 80 Subpart M (Renewable Fuel Standard "RFS") of the Code of Federal Regulations. This individual will also research regulations and assist with multiple assignments under the supervision of experienced team members. The ideal candidate will be able to establish trust with clients, maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively with client personnel and teammates.
