Wake County Health and Human Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Energy Assistance - Eligibility Caseworker II to join our Energy Program team. This role focuses primarily on the Crisis Intervention Program (CIP), which provides assistance to low-income families facing heating- or cooling-related crises. In addition to CIP, this work unit administers funding sources like: Low Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP), Emergency Assistance under Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF-EA), and Wake County Emergency Assistance Program (WCEA). This position will be based at the Northern Regional Center Building, once training is completed. Training will occur at our Swinburne location. This role requires working in the office for the first six months or until quality work standards are met. Once standards are met this role is hybrid.
