E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Energy Analyst (Oil and Natural Gas Infrastructure) to join our team in Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC in support of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities-including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment-to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition official.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience or 7+years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with defense industries analysis or all-source intelligence analysis on military capabilities
  • Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the appropriate level.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with systems, resources, facilities or installations, networks, equipment, and energy infrastructures, including electric power, oil, and gas production or generation, transmission, and distribution systems along with oil and gas reserves
  • Experience with network development tools and methods
  • Knowledge of electric power plants and associated equipment
  • Knowledge of ICD 203 or 206 analytic tradecraft standards

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and analysis of foreign economic structures and how they support their military industrial complexes.
  • Performs analysis of economic health of foreign states and non­ states and help determine the true level of defense spending and financial ability for and sustain military operations.
  • Performs research and analysis to determine potential economic leverage points and vulnerabilities of foreign economies.
