The Town of Plymouth seeks qualified applicants for the position of Energy Advocate for the Department of Energy and Environment. This is a grant funded position through Mass Save with an anticipated end date of March 14, 2028. Performs outreach services in Plymouth as a Community Partner Team (CPT) representative for the Mass Save Massachusetts Community First Partnership (CFP) Program. Develops and implements a localized outreach plan focusing on priority groups (renters, landlords, moderate income households, households with limited English proficiency, and small businesses) that meet the Mass Save Program's goals. Organizes events, delivers presentations, and utilizes media to promote Mass Save Programs. Builds meaningful partnerships with local non-profits, municipal Departments, and community organizations to collaborate on shared goals. Recruits, coordinates, and supports volunteers to enhance outreach efforts and strengthen community connections. Collaborates with the Department of Environment and Energy staff to achieve priorities within the Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure section of the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (i.e., promoting residential, commercial, and municipal incentives for all-electric, high efficiency building systems and renewable energy sources).
