About The Position

Warren RECC is looking to hire a full-time Energy Advisor as part of the Member Services department located in Bowling Green, KY . As part of a team of 160 employees, the Energy Advisor provides advice and assistance to residential members regarding energy use, energy programs, and overall cooperative operations. In this role some fieldwork will be required. You will meet with members at their residence and present at public events throughout Warren RECC's territory. The Energy Advisor will be the initial point of contact for members interested in energy programs and who have advanced energy service questions. As an employee you will work closely with the Manager of Member Services and the Energy Services Department. Work schedule is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Additional hours may be required. The Energy Advisor reports to our corporate office located at 951 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101.

Requirements

Associate's degree in building science, electricity, engineering technology or related field is required. We will consider equivalent work experience.
5 years of electric utility experience
Proficiency in verbal and written communication
Confidentiality
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in mathematics and composition is preferred
