The Agency's mission is to be boldly innovative in improving the health and quality of life for South Carolinians. This position is located in the Bureau of Information Technology Services, Richland County. We are looking for an Endpoint Technician I who will participate in all phases of IT audit engagements, including planning, identifying operational controls, evaluating controls, completing audit reviews, identifying deficiencies, and documenting process narratives. The role involves performing selected engagements of information systems, applications, and related business processes to identify control weaknesses, obtaining, analyzing, and assessing information from multiple data sources, and documenting information gathered and methods used. The technician will develop spreadsheets for data analysis and reconciliation, track and maintain IT Audit projects, and assist in developing effective communication of findings and control concepts both verbally and in reports to IT management. The position also includes participating in scheduled audits with external auditors and examiners, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and documenting work efforts to track activity and establish procedures for IT-related problems more expeditiously. Additionally, the technician will participate in IT Service Desk process improvement and procedure documentation.
