About The Position

As the Endpoint/MDM Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and securing all endpoints and mobile devices across the BCG Federal organization in a Microsoft GCC High environment. This position is critical for ensuring that all devices, including Windows laptops, MacBooks, and mobile devices, are secure, up-to-date, and functioning efficiently. You will work with various platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Tanium to create and manage laptop images for both Windows and Mac devices, ensuring consistency across deployments. Your collaboration with the IT Service team will be essential in maintaining high standards of image quality and end-user satisfaction. In the realm of Endpoint Management, your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and updating laptop images for Windows and MacBook devices, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance. You will manage the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Intune, Tanium, and Jamf for endpoint devices, and work closely with the Cloud Engineer to maintain the Azure VDI image. Implementing and maintaining endpoint security policies will be a key aspect of your role, as will handling software packaging, deployment, and patch management to keep devices secure and current. Regular maintenance and optimization of endpoint systems will be necessary, along with maintaining the device catalog and assessing new laptop models and accessories for performance and quality. In terms of Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will manage and support iOS devices using Microsoft Intune, including administering Apple Business Manager (ABM) for DEP/VPP. While experience with Android Enterprise is preferred, it is not required. You will develop and maintain mobile security policies, ensuring seamless integration with the organization's broader IT infrastructure. Overseeing the enrollment of new mobile devices will be part of your duties, ensuring they are properly configured, secured, and tracked throughout their lifecycle. You will also serve as an escalation point for user troubleshooting with mobile devices, providing advanced support and resolving issues. Staying up to date with the latest developments in mobile device management, security best practices, and emerging technologies will be crucial for your success in this role.
