About The Position

The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Neurosurgery is seeking an Endovascular and Open Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeon to support the Department of Neurosurgery in its clinical and academic mission. Along with our current faculty in the Department of Neurological Surgery, this new faculty member will manage and build upon our department’s thriving Neurosurgery Programs where we use the most current technologies available to care for our patients. These positions are an excellent opportunity to join an established high-volume practice. The Department of Neurosurgery houses the only allopathic Neurosurgery Residency Training Program in New Jersey and collaborates with an extensive array of health care providers across the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences units. These well-qualified new faculty members will manage and build upon a thriving academic department at the Assistant/Associate, and/or Professor rank. Rutgers has a residency program, a vast campus community, and clinical centers at New Jersey Medical School in Newark and at Cooperman Barnabas in Livingston. Across our many campuses, there is a wealth of clinical material with basic and translational research opportunities along with educational avenues for training medical students and residents.
