Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED Required.
• Previous hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, escorts out and in patients to and from the ENDO unit. Ability to move patients by stretcher or wheelchair.
• Performs selected CCP direct patient care duties including: vital signs, weights, feeding meals, ambulation assistance, toileting, transport of stretchers, wheelchairs at the direction of the RN.
• Performs receptionist, clerical, patient scheduling related to flow-through of the endoscopy unit; Adds additional patients to PICIs and reconciles daily statistical data in PICS.
• Maintains per levels for items from Central Supply and General Stores.
• Forwards forms and records for GI/anesthesia MD.
• Answers phones promptly.
• Able to perform courier services and maintain confidentiality. Computer competent and able to enter data into discrete fields for extended period of time; physically able to lift and stock deliveries of medical/office supplies.
