Under the direction of the Registered Nurse in Endoscopy, the Endoscopy Technician provides the assistance to the physicians during endoscopic procedures. The Endoscopy Technician assists in pre and post procedure care of endoscopy patients as directed. The Technician also assists with room maintenance and cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of Endoscopy experience required.
- Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to the physicians during endoscopic procedures.
- Assists in pre and post procedure care of endoscopy patients as directed.
- Assists with room maintenance and cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
