Position Summary: Reporting to the Surgical Services Manager, the Endoscopy Technician assists the Gastroenterologist and Registered Nurse during endoscopic procedures by performing endoscopic technician duties, including but not limited to: preparing and maintaining equipment, collecting specimens, performing safety checks, and maintaining a sterile field and providing support during the endo procedure.
Requirements
- Prefer High School Graduate or GED.
- One year experience as an Endoscopy Technician or similar role.
- Current BCLS certificate
Nice To Haves
- Prefer completion of Endoscopy Technician training program.
- Familiarity with endoscopy equipment/supplies, various modalities, treatments and medications.
