Currently our Endoscopy weekend call rotation is four weekends off and then one weekend on call. You also have one evening / night call shift through the week. Holiday coverage is only 1-2 Holidays per year and those are covered with call only! We have a robust Unit Based Council that meets regularly to listen to the ideas of our team members and create better processes for patients and team members alike. This position is a day shift role working 7:00am-4:30pm. On-call and Holiday required. Endoscopy Technicians provide service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of equipment and supplies in the endoscopy room prior to each procedure, assists the physician during the endoscopic procedure as allowed by professional and legal standards, cleans the endoscope after the procedure and expedites room turnover. Provides basic care and some diagnostic tests. Responsible for maintaining the endoscopic equipment and maintaining supply inventory.
